Pepsi Center

The Pepsi Center is an event arena in Denver, Colorado, United States. It was opened Arena on October 1, 1999. Namesake of the arena is the company PepsiCo Inc.

The size of the hall will be officially ( approximately 62 710 m²) given as 675,000 square feet. The capacity depends on the style depending on the event. At hockey games, the arena holds 18,217, with other sporting events around 19,000 spectators for concerts and up to 20,000 visitors will find place in the arena.

The Pepsi Center is home of the Colorado Avalanche hockey team of the National Hockey League, basketball's Denver Nuggets of the NBA, the Colorado Mammoth Lacrossemannschaft of the National Lacrosse League and the Arena Football franchises Colorado Crush of the AFL.

In addition, the Pepsi Center numerous pop and rock concerts and other events. In August 2008, the National Convention ( Democratic National Convention ) of the U.S. Democratic Party was held in this arena.
