The Pepsi Max 400 is a race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The race is still very young, was held for the first time in 2004 and was since always held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. It traditionally takes place on Labor Day weekend, which was previously the race date of the Southern 500. In the 2010 season, it will be held for the time being the last times. During the race until 2009 was over 500 miles, the race distance of the last edition was reduced to 400 miles. As of 2011, the Kentucky Speedway is instead a Sprint Cup race organized for the first time
