Perfect Season

Perfect Season or Perfect Record is a common particularly in U.S. sports such as American football term for the game season a team when it has in it all the regular and playoff games won. This will not affect the team that went beyond the associated title is proof of performance - they had a literally perfect season.

In the National Football League a perfect season so far only the Miami Dolphins succeeded in 1972 (Super Bowl VII). A perfect regular season last managed the New England Patriots, which the New York Giants in the 2007 season, subject only to the Super Bowl.

For popular sports in Germany, however, the term is rather unusual.
