Perisher Valley, New South Wales

Perisher Valley is a ski resort and holiday village in the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, Australia, 1720 meters above the sea. It is located in the Snowy River Shire and the Kosciuszko National Park. Perisher Valley, operated by the New South Wales Department of Environment and Climate Change, is mainly occupied in winter, although it is open all year round.

The ski area is accessible by Skitube and by car. There is also a free connection through the park service, because cars are allowed during the winter months there at night not be turned off. The railway connecting the Skitube was to Perisher Valley taken in 1987 in operation, a year later further extended to Blue Cow. The railway company also handles the logistics of the local restaurants.
