Pernes- les -Fontaines is located between the eleven kilometers away L' Isle- sur -la -Sorgue and Carpentras which six kilometers away. Other neighboring towns are La Roque- sur -Pernes, Saint- Didier, Venasque and Le Beaucet. The municipality belongs to the Communauté de communes du Comtat Les Sorgue.
