Pero Sudar

Pero Sudar ( born July 3, 1951 in Baram, Yugoslavia, now Bosnia - Herzegovina) is Auxiliary Bishop of Vhrbosna (Sarajevo).

Life

Pero Sudar attended high school in Zagreb and Dubrovnik. His philosophical studies he completed in the Archbishop's Seminary of Vhrbosna. He was ordained a priest on 29 June 1977 Archdiocese Vhrbosna. As a chaplain, he spent two years in pastoral Bosnian herzegowinischem Komušina active. Thereafter, he obtained in 1985 in Rome at the Pontifical Urban University, his doctorate in Canon Law. Since 1986 he has been professor of canon law at the Faculty of Theology in Sarajevo. At the same time he was to 1989 rector of the archbishop's seminary.

On 28 May 1993 was made by Pope John Paul II, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop and Titular Bishop of Selia simultaneously. He received his episcopal consecration Cardinal Vinko Puljić on January 6, 1994. Bishop Pero Sudar 2005 was endowed with 10,000 euros Cardinal König Prize for his work in the Archdiocese of Vhrbosna awarded for the creation and establishment of the European Schools.
