Perri (film)

Perris Adventure ( original title Perri ) is an American animal " movie" of the directors N. Paul Kenwortny junior and Ralph Writht from the year 1957. The screenplay by Ralph Wright and Winston Hibler is based on the story " Perri " by Felix Salten. The pictures were taken in natural parks Jackson Hole in Wyoming and in the Uintah National Forest in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S., and Utah fishing and hunting management. Nevertheless, it is not a common nature documentary film because the strip tells a universal story and with a lot of music and interspersed with songs of " animal operetta" is like. The music for the film was nominated for a 1958 Academy Award for Best Original Score. Action

Just a few days the Squirrel Girl Perri has seen the light of the world and now spends his childhood in the safe Kobel, protected by his mother. Of the dangers that lurk outside the nest, the child knows anything yet. But the bad experience will not be spared him: a marten, the main enemy of all squirrels, kills Perris mother and his siblings. Perri must now look for yourself how they can cope with life. Down from the tree she is studying their environment: The raccoon mother leads her cubs walk and a vixen drags a freshly hunted rabbits in the native cave. In Waldsee the beavers build their massive dams and the deer who feels as king of the forest, guarded in a clearing his cute kids. In addition to the marten, the wild cat Perri and conspecifics makes life difficult. More than once she can escape the enemies only narrowly.

Perri grows to a dashing lady. The time has taught them that life is one big struggle for existence. Nature is sometimes cruel: Eat and be eaten is the motto. And on a beautiful autumn Perri discovered something completely new and beautiful: love! Porro is called the Happy, she begins to elevate.

A soft blanket of snow covers the land. While most animals are sunk into hibernation, Perri has a wonderful dream: squirrels glide in flight over a silver moon, animals dancing peacefully side by side, enchanting melodies fill the air. Porro shows his love for her.

Finally back seam of the spring. Perri enjoys with her boyfriend the awakening of nature. Suddenly the sky darkens. A thunderstorm sparked a forest fire. Also Perris nest is destroyed by fire.
