Perry Township is one of twelve townships of Allen County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 3620 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Perry Township is located in the southeast of Allen County in northwest Ohio and borders clockwise to the townships: Bath Township, Jackson Township, Auglaize Township, Auglaize County in Wayne Township, Union Township and Duchouquet Township, Shawnee Township and American Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
