Pesoz
Pesoz is a municipality in the autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.
Location
The community is bounded by Illano in the north, Granda de Salime in the south, from Allande in the west and in the east of San Martín de Oscos.
History
Finds from the Stone Age, confirm the early settlement of the region. Su barrows and dolmens have been found that are very impressive evidence of this era today.
Several hill forts also bear witness to the settlement by the Gallaeker and Asturians.
Geology
Land
The predominantly of limestone and shale underground with the Cornomandil ( 856 m) as highest point is the locally grown wine its typical terroir.
Waters
The municipality is crossed by the Rio Navia, the Río Agüeiria and one of its tributaries, the Rio Ahío.
Climate
