Pet Alien

Pet Alien ( Subtitle: incidence from space ) is an American computer-animated children's series. The series is about the boy Tommy Cadle, who lives in a coastal town called DeSprayBay on the coast in a lighthouse.

Content

One night landing on the 13 -year-old Tommy a spaceship with aliens. This pull in with him and soon put together with some nonsense to Tommy. Often misunderstandings arise when the aliens interpret the behavior of people wrong.

Figures

  • Tommy Cadle: The main character. He is wearing a green sweater and gray shorts.
  • Tommy's parents: They occur only indirectly through a speaker in appearance and exhort their young on a regular basis.
  • Dinko: Small, green alien, sly and the main character of the aliens.
  • Gumpers: An alien. He is a simpleton and brings all this often in trouble.
  • Flip: An alien. As only one of the characters speaks not flip, but only by drawing attention noises herself.
  • Swanky: An alien, like an ant. His greatest fear is that his toenails may grow unequal length. He is arrogant and uncooperative and brings the others by regularly in trouble.
  • Scruffy: An alien beings; He is the pet of Dinko.
  • Gabby: Tommy's girlfriend - at least from their point of view. Tommy wants to know about her and nothing must escape rebuffs her always.
  • Melba Manners: unpleasant neighbor girl and a know- who always annoys Tommy.
  • Granville DeSpray: Tommy's nemesis. He is in love with Melba Manners and constantly thinks, Tommy wanted to make him alienated.
  • Clinton Filmore Jefferson XIII: A boy who is very athletic and Tommy can always know how the unsportsmanlike was yet.
  • Captain Spangley: A minor character, a water -abrasive captain who gives useless advice to the children.
  • Go Getter: A vehicle. With it, the aliens land at Tommy and use it during their stay.

Production and publication

The series was produced under director Andrew Young of Mike Young Productions, 2005. Writer was among other Dan Danko. Taffy Entertainment drove the series worldwide.

The first broadcast of the first season took place on January 23, 2005 to May 26, 2005 in the USA on Cartoon Network. Later previously was followed by three more seasons. The German version will be shown at KI.KA since February 10, 2006. The series was shown, inter alia, in the UK, Portugal, Italy and Ukraine on television.

Video game

A system based on the series Puzzelvideospiel appeared in July 2007 for the Nintendo DS in the USA. It was developed and published by The Game Factory of Shin'en multimedia.

Reception

2006 Pet Alien was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the category for outstanding animated programs.
