Petar Drenchev

Petar Drentschew ( Bulgarian Петър Николов Дренчев, the World Chess Federation FIDE Petar Drenchev; born April 25, 1977 in Kazanlak ) is a Bulgarian chess player.

He is a graduate of the National Sports Academy of Bulgaria as a chess trainer. The title of International Master, he won in 2007 and in February 2011 he was awarded by the FIDE Grand Master title. His highest Elo rating of 2523 he reached in July 2011. Currently ( May 2013) he has an Elo rating of 2490, and thus is ranked 16 of the Bulgarian Elo ranking.
