Petar Naumoski

Petar Naumoski ( Macedonian Петар Наумоски; born August 27, 1968 in Prilep, SR Macedonia ) is a Macedonian former basketball player and politician. Naumoski is regarded as one of Europe's best playmakers in basketball of the 1990s and enjoys special veneration in particular in Turkey, as he led the first Turkish club team that won in 1996 with the Korać Cup a European Cup. During his playing days Naumoski was naturalized in Turkey and Italy. Between 2002 and 2006 he was a member of the Macedonian Parliament within the faction of the VMRO- DPMNE.
