Pete MacArthur

Peter MacArthur ( born June 20, 1985 in Clifton Park, New York ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2012 in the Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Peter MacArthur began his career as a hockey player with the Waterloo Black Hawks, for those in the Junior League United States Hockey League, he was active in the 2003/04 season and with whom he won the Clark Cup, the playoff champion title of the USHL. He then attended Boston University for four years while he was playing in parallel for their hockey team in the Hockey East. With his team he won the 2006 Hockey East the Championship. Towards the end of the 2007/08 season the winger gave for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League debut in professional hockey. In the following two years he was a regular player at the AHL league rival Rockford IceHogs, where he also played three games for the Fresno Falcons in the ECHL during this period. The 2010/11 season spent at MacArthur AHL Team San Antonio Rampage. The majority of the following season he was in the squad of the ECHL teams Las Vegas Wranglers, played in parallel but also for the Lake Erie Monsters and Peoria Rivermen in the AHL.

For the season 2012/13 MacArthur was committed by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
