Peter-André Alt

Peter- André Alt ( born June 16, 1960 in Berlin ) is a German literary scholar and president of the Freie Universität Berlin.

Life

Alt studied from 1979 to 1984 German, political science, history and philosophy at the Free University of Berlin, where he became his doctorate in 1984 and his habilitation in 1993. From 1987 to 1992 he was a research assistant at the chair by Hans -Jürgen Schings at the Free University, from 1992 to 1993, he held a postdoctoral fellowship from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft ( DFG), from 1994 to 1995 he was a Heisenberg Fellow of the DFG. Work

Alts publications since 1985 include 16 monographs, about 90 tips, 25 reviews, several editions, four anthologies for German and European literature of the 17th - 18th and the 20th century.
