Peter Bares
Peter Bares ( born January 16, 1936 in Essen- Borbeck, † March 2, 2014 in Sinzig bathroom floor village ) was a German organist and composer of church music.
Life
Bares studied church music at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen at Ernst Kaller and Siegfried Reda. From 1960 to 1985 he worked as a church musician in Sinzig, where in 1976 he initiated the International Study Weeks for New Spiritual Music Sinzig. After his dismissal, accompanied by international protests in 1985 he continued the study week or ten times in Bonn and Cologne continued. He was appointed by the Jesuit Father Friedhelm Mennekes to the St. Petersburg Art Cologne station 1992.
In 1974 he won a bronze medal at the International Improvisation Competition in Haarlem. He gave numerous concerts in Europe. His interpretations were documented by radio recordings. Bares taught improvisation in teaching in Saarbrücken, Legnica, Warsaw and Utrecht. His work includes more than 3000 spiritual compositions, including liturgical hymnal Salve festa this. About his musical work also published Bares 1992-1995 five books of poetry. His poetry and some works have been published in Cologne publishing Dohr. 1981 donated cash for the Sinziger parish church of St. Peter the Peter Bell, who completed the significant bells by 1299. Peter Bares ended in early 2008 his service as an organist. The Church Council appointed him together with Zsigmond Szathmáry the titular organist at St. Peter in Cologne. Bares died on March 2, 2014 at the age of 78 years.
Organs
Peter Bares made numerous disposition designs, including a disposition for a new organ in Cologne Cathedral. According to his plans, the organ was built in St. Peter Sinzig. The organ of the Cologne Art Station Sankt Peter, with over 100 registers he created using the old organ and its own register of Sinzig.
