Peter Baumgartner

Peter Baumgartner ( born July 22, 1986 in Vilsbiburg ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for SC Riessersee in the DEL 2 on the position of the defender since 2013.

Career

Peter Baumgarnter began his career as a hockey player in the junior section of the EV Landshut, for which he was active in the German Junior League from 2002 to 2004. In the 2003 /04 season he also gave for the first team of the Landshut Cannibals his debut in the second Hockey League. In the following season the defender remained in Landshut and could also accumulate in a game for the ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. After a year at the mosquitoes eating in the 2nd Bundesliga, the native Bayer to EC Peiting in the third-rate league.

The season 2007/ 08 spent Baumgartner at the Hannover Indians in the big leagues. For this he was able to achieve 49 points scorer in a total of 59 games, and he was given the opportunity once again to the 2nd Bundesliga return. There he received a contract with the SERC Wild Wings. For the 2009/10 season, the right-handed shooter has been committed by the Hannover Scorpions of the DEL. In these he came regularly used, especially in the playoffs, where he played eleven games for the Scorpions and his team in his career German champion was first. Throughout the season, he was parallel to the Fishtown Penguins in the 2nd Bundesliga on the ice to play matches. For the 2011/12 season he returned to the Hannover Indians back to the 2nd Bundesliga. Since 2012 Baumgartner plays for the Lions Frankfurt in the hockey league west. In April 2013 it was announced that Baumgartner changes to the 2013/14 season for SC Riessersee in the 2nd Hockey League.
