Péter Bozsik

Péter Bozsik ( born October 30, 1961 in Budapest) is a Hungarian football coach. He is a son of József Bozsik footballer, who was part of Hungary's Golden Team of the 1950s.

In his time as an active footballer Bozsik was only when unterklassigen Pénzügyőr SE, where he afterwards exercised also as coach. From 2000 he was active as a club coach at Vasas SC, Zalaegerszegi TE and Haladás Szombathely. The team from Zalaegerszeg, which he headed from 2001 to 2003, he led it the biggest success in club history, the Hungarian Championship in 2002.

From March to October 2006, he was succeeded Lothar Matthäus coach of the Hungarian national football team, an office which was established in 1974 and once dressed by his father. He was followed in turn by the Hungarian U-19 coach Péter Várhidi. Péter Bozsik balance as national coach three wins and four defeats in seven games with a goal difference of 10:12.
