Peter Burgstaller

Peter Burgstaller ( born February 13, 1964; † 23 November 2007 in Durban, South Africa) was an Austrian football goalkeeper.

Career

Peter Burgstaller began his professional career with the Favoritner AC, in which he in his time in the 1st Division between 1983 and 1985 with only 19 years has established itself as a goalkeeper and brought it to a total of 41 league bets. During this time he also debuted on March 12, 1985 against Italy in the Austrian U-21 national team. After the descent of the Favoritner, he transferred to the SSW Innsbruck, with the third table, although the rank was achieved, but Peter Burgstaller replaced internationally experienced Tomislav Ivković as a goalkeeper. 1986 therefore substitute Peter Burgstaller for Grazer AK, but where he stayed behind Manfred consolation spare man, also because he is already 35 minutes drew upon a torn ligament in his knee in his first league commitment to Graz.
