Peter C. Whybrow

Peter C. Whybrow ( born 1939 ) is an American professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences biologically based.

He was chairman of the psychiatric department at the University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Neuropsychiatric Institute of the University of California, Los Angeles, which was renamed Jane and Terry Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior, 2005. Published in 2005 Whybrow bestseller "American Mania: When More Is Not Enough ," in which he analyzed the neurotic greed in the American population. In Germany the book was published in 2007 when Vedra Verlag under the title " When more is not enough - analysis of a greedy society."
