Peter de Klerk

Peter de Klerk ( born March 16, 1935 in Pilgrim 's Rest, Transvaal ) is a former South African Formula 1 racing driver.

The former car mechanic De Klerk started after a long stay in England with a total of four Formula 1 World Championship races in the seasons 1963, 1965, 1969 with a privately-entered Brabham Repco and 1970 with a Brabham -Cosworth, which in itself his private property was located. Each of its launch was held for a South African team at the Grand Prix of South Africa. First, he met twice for the Otelle Nucci on the team. In 1969 he drove for Jack Holme and 1970 for the Team Gunston. His best finish was 10th place in 1965.

Until the 80s, he participated in sports car racing.
