Peter Duncan (actor)

Peter Duncan ( May 3, 1954 in London ) is a British actor and TV presenter. He was particularly known for the show Blue Peter and later by his family travel programs in the United Kingdom.

Actor

Duncan studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, an independent drama school in London. Prior to joining the heel marriages, he played on various stages. His first television roles were in the series The Tomorrow People, Space 1999, King Cinder, Play for Today, Warship, Oranges & Lemons and in the second season of Survivors. He played 1974 in Stardust by Michael Apted his first major role, and later a small role in Flash Gordon.

Involvement in the British Scout Association

Duncan was appointed in 2004 to be the " 9th Chief Scout for The Scout Association " in the UK. First, diskutuiert controversial about his vocation, as Duncan in his childhood had been "only" a Cub Scout (children step or " wolf cub " in the Boy Scouts ), and as an adult boarding again. His five -year term as the official Chief Scout in Gilwell began on September 5, 2004 and ended on 11 July 2009. Official handover to Bear Grylls took place in the presence of 3,000 Explorer Scouts.
