Peter Florjančič

Peter Florjančič ( born March 5, 1919 in Bled) is a Slovenian inventor.

Florjančič is one of Slovenia's most famous inventor, he has filed some 400 patents, of which 41 have been implemented. Among his most important inventions include Plastikrähmchen for slides, the plastic zipper or sprayer on perfume bottle. He invented in 1957, also an automotive airbag, without this to perfect and to register.

Florjančič was born in a family of hoteliers in Bled. He lived in Monaco, Switzerland, Austria and Germany and was also a member of the Slovenian ski jumping team when Josef Bradl 1936 in Planica put the world's first jump over 100 meters.

Florjančič is almost completely blind, but continued his inventive activity with PC and other assistance.
