Peter Gustafsson

Peter Gustafsson ( born August 17, 1976 in Orust ) is a Swedish professional golfer on the European Tour. In his tournament performances he always wears strikingly colorful sun hats.

In 1999 he became professional golfers and recorded from 2000, the second- Tiered Challenge Tour. Because sciatic pain he lost his eligibility to play after 2001 and had to fight back to regional, third Tiered Nordic League. From 2003, back on the Challenge Tour, Gustafsson earned with a victory at the Tour School in 2004 sovereign qualifying for the big European Tour. In his first season he missed winning the title only in the jump-off against his fellow countryman Peter Hanson, and at the prestigious Omega European Masters Gustafsson was only the prominent golfer Sergio Garcia conquered. At the end of the season he was on the remarkable 46th place on the European Tour Order of Merit.
