Peter Henrici

Peter Henrici, SJ ( born March 31, 1928 in Zurich ) is a Roman Catholic theologian and emeritus auxiliary bishop of Chur.

Life

Peter Henrici entered the Jesuit order in 1947 and was dedicated to his studies in classical philology and Indo-European Studies at the University of Zurich and other philosophical and theological studies at various universities in Rome, Munich and lions in 1958 as a priest. In 1965 he laid the solemn religious profession with the special vow of obedience to the Pope.

Henrici was from 1960 to 1993 professor of modern philosophy History at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and since 1993 visiting professor at the Theological College Chur, in 2008 he was appointed honorary professor.

He was Auxiliary Bishop of Chur and Titular Bishop of Absorus and episcopal vicar of the diocese of Chur 1993.

Henrici has published numerous publications, including Hegel and Blondel ( 1958) and risers Christian thought (1978); plus numerous translations, inter alia, by Jean Daniélou, Maurice Blondel and Peter Faber.
