Peter Hochschorner

Peter Hochschorner ( born September 7, 1979 in Bratislava) is a Slovak canoeist. He was Olympic champion and world champion in canoe slalom.

Peter Hochschorner starts in two - Canadians along with his twin brother Pavol, where Peter is slightly larger and more powerful. The two come from a canoeists family, both parents were in the canoe slalom active, the sister was flatwater canoeist. In 1998, the two high choir former European champion in two's Canadian and European Vice Champion in the team competition of the two - Canadians. The following year, the two were with the team runner-up.

The first highlight of her career experienced the high choir dryer at the 2000 Olympics when she was Olympic Champion with six seconds ahead after they had already defended their European title before the games.
