Peter Joppich

Peter Joppich ( born December 21, 1982 in Koblenz ) is a German fencer.

He had 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2010 as a single champion His greatest successes so far. He took part in the 2004 Athens Olympics, finishing in sixth place at the 2008 Games in Beijing in fifth place. With the team he won in the men's foil at the 2012 Olympic Games bronze.

Biography

Peter Joppich is a professional sports soldier of the Bundeswehr. Initial success in fencing he has already collected as B -teenager. From 1997 to 2001 he was a pupil of the Bonn fencing boarding. Since his junior season of 1999, he was always present in the world rankings. By 2007, he started for the Königsbacher SC Koblenz, since for Coblenzer Turn Company 1880.
