Peter Kern

Peter Kern ( born February 13, 1949 in Vienna) is an Austrian actor, film director, film producer and writer for magazines and newspapers.

Life

From a young age had core as the Vienna Boys Choir his first public performances. He attended the College of Education and completed a commercial apprenticeship.

After acting lessons with Polly Kiigler in Vienna, he made ​​his debut as Gluthammer in The Torn at the Burgenland in Eisenstadt stage. From 1968 to 1971 he was with the musical Hair on tour. Then Peter Lilienthal offered him in his TV movie Jacob von Gunten on the first roll of film. For his roles in The Wrong Move (1975) and Flaming Hearts ( 1978 ) Core received respectively the German Film Award ( Film Award ) for Best Male Lead.
