Peter Larisch

Peter Larisch (* September 13 1950 in Goldberg ) is a former German handball player.

Larisch began his handball career in 1967 at SC Leipzig. Here won the 1.87 meter tall, used in the right back Larisch with the SC 1968, the Children 's and Youth and Junior Champion in 1969 in the GDR. With the first men's team of SC Leipzig, he was unbeaten GDR champion in the 1971/72 season. After 1972, he played at the unit BSV Halle-Neustadt and then to 1986 in the BSG Post Schwerin. He played over 500 games for Post Schwerin and was with 154 goals in the season 1979/80 the best Torwerfer the DDR Oberliga. He is still playing in the senior team of the TSV Goldberg 1902 eV

He completed 47 missions in the East German youth team. In 1972 he was part of the national team of East Germany, which played at the Olympics in Munich in 1972, finishing in fourth place, with Larisch was only used in the preliminary round against Tunisia and scored two goals in this game. He played eleven A- internationals.

Peter Larisch is a trained waiters and owner of a restaurant in Goldberg. His son, Peter Kay Larisch (born 26 April 1988) also plays handball.
