Peter Lawford

Peter Lawford ( born September 7, 1923 in London, † December 24, 1984 in Los Angeles, Peter Sydney Ernest Aylen actually ) was a British actor.

Life

Lawford was born as the son of actor Sidney Lawford. His parents married when he was a year old, so is on his birth certificate his mother's surname. His childhood spent his parents with him in France and he learned French rather than the English language. Lawford also spoke later fluent in Spanish and Italian.

With seven years he played for the first time with in a movie, 1938, he had his first supporting role in a MGM movie. Peter Lawford married Patricia in 1954, the sister of John F. Kennedy, and thus became a member of the Kennedy family. They had four children together. The marriage was divorced in 1966. Lawford was a member of the Rat Pack by Frank Sinatra, Sinatra was making it possible to maintain close contact with Kennedy. The Rat Pack Compatible Kennedy through concerts in the presidential campaign in 1960.

The friendship between him and Sinatra suffered over the years from the fact that he had an affair with Sinatra's wife Ava Gardner and Sinatra felt this was the reason for his separation from Gardner. Lawford other hand, had several more or less serious affairs with stars such as Dorothy Dandridge, Lana Turner and June Allyson.

He is said to have the close personal relations between the two Kennedy brothers, John F. and Robert Kennedy to Marilyn Monroe significantly supported. With Lawford Marilyn Monroe moved during a call that her last words on the night of August 4, 1962, she died in the mysterious and still not elucidated unequivocally.

After the divorce from the Kennedy Lawford 1971 Mary married daughter Rowan, who was 27 years younger and daughter of Dan Rowan. The marriage lasted until 1975. Afterwards he entered two more times before the altar, once with Deborah Gould ( 1977-78 ) and a few months before his death with Patricia Seaton. He died in 1984 from kidney and liver failure.
