Peter Manley

Peter Manley ( born March 7, 1962 in Cheam, Greater London ) is an English darts player in the Professional Darts Corporation ( PDC). His nickname is " One Dart " as he was known, Doubles (see darts) to meet with the first dart.

Career

Manley reached inglorious notoriety when he refused to give Phil Taylor after his 0:7 defeat in World Championship Final 2002, the hand. This meant that he was booed by the fans on stage for many years. It was not until 2005, when he chose " Is This the Way to Amarillo " by Tony Christie as a new song for his performances, the audience responded positively. In addition, the song it apparently helps to twist occur.

To date (2008) Manley won only a larger tournament with the PDC, the Las Vegas Desert Classic in 2003. Therefore He is rumored to have its potential is not fully exploited.

After he had lost again in 2006 a game with 0:7 against Phil Taylor, but he gave him his hand this time.

Currently Manley is no longer listed in the Order of Merit.
