Peter Marcuse

Peter Marcuse ( born November 13, 1928 in Berlin ), son of Herbert Marcuse, since 1975 professor of urban planning at Columbia University in New York.

He made in 1948 in Harvard with a BA degree. The following year, he married the Au Pair Frances Bessler; 1953, 1957 and 1965 were the two children Irene, Harold and Andrew. Previously, he had received in 1952 by the Yale Doctor of Law (JD). In 1963 he earned an MA at Columbia in 1968 another master at Yale and in 1972 a PhD from UC Berkeley. Then he taught until 1975 at UCLA.
