Peter Marshall (swimmer)

Peter Marshall ( born March 9, 1982 in Gainsville, Florida) is an American swimmer.

Marshall favored especially the 100 meters supine position. He is on the short track particularly successful. In 2004 he sang for the first time in 00:50,32 min a new short course world record over this distance on before Ryan Lochte at the Short Course World Championships in Shanghai in 2006 improved on this for the first time under 50 seconds. In the fall of 2008, Marshall this world record brought back again and corrected him on 00:49,63 min.
