Peter Mikuš

Peter Mikuš ( born January 10, 1985 in Trenčín, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga since 2011.

Career

Peter Mikuš began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior section of the HC Dukla Trenčín for the first team, he was active in the Slovak Extraliga 2003-2009. During this period, the defender also came for the second team of Dukla Trenčín, as well as the SHK 37 Piestany and HK 95 Považská Bystrica in the first second-rate league used. The season 2009/10 he spent at Trenčíns League rivals HC Košice, Slovak champion with whom he was at first.

For the 2010/11 season Mikuš was committed by Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the Kontinental Hockey League, but was released end of November 2010. A week later he was obliged by BK Mladá Boleslav of the Czech Extraliga, with whom he reached the league in the relegation at the end of the season. For the 2011/12 season he moved within the Czech Extraliga for HC České Budějovice.

Internationally

For Slovakia Mikuš took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005. He prepared in six games before two goals.
