Peter Muyzers
Peter Muyzers is a VFX supervisor, who in 2010 was nominated for the movie District 9 for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
Life
In 1995, he first worked in the field of visual effects as a 3D artist for commercials in Europe. In 1997, he worked as a digital artist for the company Trix in the drama Gaston's War. Even with his next project, the documentation Everest - Summit without mercy, he was still working at Trix. For his next film, he became technical director to London for the Moving Picture Company. Here he produced such films as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Pluto Nash - In the fight against the Mafia Moon and Troy.
In 2006 he joined as VFZ supervisor with the company resident in Vancouver Image Engine, for which he, in recent years films such as Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer realized, The Incredible Hulk and District 9. In 2010 he was nominated for the movie District 9 for an Oscar in the category Best Visual Effects.
