Peter Pen

Peter Pen ( born June 14, 1973 in Maribor ) is a Slovenian former alpine skier. In the disciplines of downhill and Super -G, he was the most successful skiers of Slovenia's Andrej Jerman Ski ago.

1996 Pen debuted in the World Cup and won already in his second race - the Super -G in Garmisch- Partenkirchen - his first World Cup point. This was also the first World Cup point in the super -G of the young Slovenian men's teams. As a result, Pen scored particularly well in the downhill, best season was about 2000/2001. He achieved this season, including two finishes in the top ten (6th in Val d'Isere and 10 in Kvitfjell ) and finished second in the downhill Rating Rank 25 At this performance but he could not connect to 2004 ended Peter Pen finally his career.

Pen was twice a member of the Slovenian Olympic Team ( 1998 Nagano and Salt Lake City 2002 ) and participated (St. Anton St. Moritz in 2001 and 2003) at two Alpine World Ski Championships.
