Peter Przygodda

Peter Przygodda ( born October 26, 1941 in Berlin, † October 2, 2011 in Munich) was a German filmmaker. He was known as an editor of Wim Wenders films.

Life

The son of Wolf Przygodda and his wife Mary Elizabeth, née Schröder grew up in Berlin -Kreuzberg, where he attended the Hermann-Hesse- school. After leaving school he wanted to study architecture in 1962 and made an internship in construction. But he lost interest in the study.

Przygodda continued to work as a construction worker, a sign painter and house painter and came across the artist's local organ grinder is in contact with the Kreuzberg artistic community. In the early 1960s he founded with Rolf Zacher the studio stage A Dime theater. In 1966 he lived in France and lived by the sale of images of friendly painters. In 1967 he returned to Berlin.

Peter Przygodda twice received the German Film Award in Gold. In September 2010, he was honored with a star on the Boulevard of Stars in Berlin.

In 1979 he married his Brazilian wife Rita de Cassia Mauricio Stud 1986 a daughter was born. Przygodda died on October 2, 2011 in Munich, a serious illness.
