Peter Radford

Peter Radford (Peter Frank Radford, born September 20, 1939 in Walsall ) is a former British sprinter.

With the Summer Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 he won the bronze medal over 100 meters behind the German Armin Hary (Gold ) and the American Dave Sime ( silver ) and the team bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meters relay together with his teammates David Jones, David Segal and Neville Whitehead, behind the teams from Germany ( gold) and the Soviet Union ( silver).

Other achievements include a bronze medal in the 100 - meter race and the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay at the European Championships 1958 in Stockholm, and twice the gold medal in the 4 x 110 yards relay race at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games 1958 in Cardiff and in 1962 in Perth.
