Peter Roth (alpine skier)

Peter Roth ( born January 30, 1961 in Schönau a.Königssee ) is a former German ski racer and current coach. In the Ski World Cup, he was active from 1980 to 1994 and counted over several years of the strongest German slalom racers.

Biography

Roth's athletic career began at the age of eight years with the accession to the ski section of WSV Koenigssee. Early on, he put his talent and won titles at the Bavarian school championships and the German Youth Championships. After attending secondary school Roth trained as a carpenter and joined after a sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr.
