Peter Schlagenhauf

His brother Andrew was Schlagenhauf and his nephew Roman Schlagenhauf is also hockey players.

Career

Peter Schlagenhauf spent the majority of his professional career with the EHC Kloten, for in the National League A 1977 to 1994 he was continuously active, the highest Swiss league. With its team of attackers won each of the Swiss Championship in his last two NLA seasons 1992/93 and 93/94. He was also elected to the Swiss All-Star team in 1993. From 1994 to 1997, the former national player left his career with Grasshopper Club Zurich in the National League B finish. He then finished his playing career at the age of 37 years.

Internationally

Peter Schlagenhauf was for many years the core of the Swiss national ice hockey team. For this he took on the A- 1987 World Championships and the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 in part. In total, he completed 92 caps for his country.
