Peter Schyrba ( [ pe ː tɐ ʃɪʁ.ba ]; born October 17, 1980 in Ozimek, Poland ) is a former German football player who can be used both in the interior and in the exterior defense.

Youth in the Rhineland

Schyrba was born as the son of German-born parents in the Upper Silesian Ozimek, but the family moved just four months after his birth in Germany about where they first settled in Cologne.
