Peter Serafinowicz

Peter Szymon Serafinowicz [ sɛrəfɪnəwɪtʃ ] (* July 10, 1972 in Liverpool, Merseyside, England ) is a British actor, comedian, voice actor and screenwriter.

Career

Peter Serafinowicz began his career in 1993 in the mockumentary The Knowledge, which was broadcast on BBC Radio 1. It was followed by appearances in several series on Radio 4, until he made ​​the jump to television in the late 1990s. He played the role of Dean Yardley in the series How Do You Want Me? , Which aired from 1998 to 1999.

Due to its deep and versatile voice Serafinowicz said in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, the role of Darth Maul, who was played by stuntman Ray Park. In the same year he had a role in the short-lived comedy series World of Pub.

Together with Robert Popper Serafinowicz produced the show Look Around You, for which both also wrote the script and music. It was based on the short film of calcium, the comedians, published in 2001. The first series of Look Around You, a parody of instructional videos of the 70 's and 80's ten- minute long episodes, aired in 2002 on BBC Two and 2003 nominated best comedy show for a BAFTA TV Award in the category.
