Peter Tork

Peter Tork (actually: Peter Halsten Thorkelson; born February 13, 1942 in Washington, DC) is an American musician and actor, best known as the bassist of the pop group The Monkees. He also plays guitar, banjo and keyboard.

He began as a folk singer and had like Michael Nesmith experience as a musician, while the other two band members Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones trained actors were.
