Peter Wolf (producer)

Peter Wolf ( born August 26, 1952 in Vienna) is an Austrian-American music producer and composer.

Life

Peter Wolf gave his first Beethoven piano concerto at the age of nine years and was brought to 16 of Fatty George 's band. Besides, he made Matura. Later he played with Karl Ratzer in the band Gipsy Love.

He wrote songs and arrangements for André Heller and Erika Pluhar.

1973 Wolf went to the USA. In Atlanta / Georgia, he played in a jazz band with which he toured from one hotel to another. In Birmingham / Alabama he got out, played at a club called " Courtyard " and was hired as a teacher at the University of Montevallo, where for a year he taught the student big band.

He then went to Los Angeles, where he keyboardist in the band of Frank Zappa was after three weeks, with whom he spent four years on the road and a total of eleven albums recorded.

Wolf has produced eight number - one hits during his career. He wrote the film score for re- Weekend at Bernie's, movie songs like Top Gun and the theme song to Pretty Woman and worked as a producer, arranger and composer for Jefferson Starship, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Who, Kenny Loggins, Commodores, Santana, Chicago, Natalie Cole, Marianne Mendt and others.

Wolf wrote the music for the TV series Inspector Rex and the complete scores for the Peanuts, to err is male and Dance on the Volcano.

1999 and 2004 designed Peter Wolf, the visualized Linz Cloud of Sound. In 2002, the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art, he was awarded.

Peter Wolf lives in Malibu and is with Lea Wolf Millesi, poet and fashion model, married.
