Peter Wright ( born March 10, 1970 in Livingston ) is a Scottish darts player. His nickname is Snakebite (snake bite) and his running- Music is " Do not Stop The Party" by Pitbull. It appears very obvious by his dyed hair and his colorful darts.

Peter Wright in 1995, participated in the BDO World Championship, but he left in the first round against Richie Burnett. In 2009, he reached for a qualifying tournament in Las Vegas a third place and thus qualified on its rank in the Order of Merit for the World Matchplay. There, however, he lost in the first round with 1:4 against Terry Jenkins. Due to its good results in 2009, he was qualified on the Order of Merit for the PDC Darts World Championship 2010. There, however, he lost 1-3 against Michael van Gerwen.

For the Players Championship Finals 2011 Peter Wright reached the knockout stages after victories over Co Stompe (3-1 ) and Paul Nicholson (4-2 ), which he losing to Phil Taylor 1-4.

In 2012, he was placed as No. 30 at the Players Championship Finals, but was defeated Jelle Klaasen with 1:3 in the first round.

In the PDC World Darts Championship 2014, he finished surprising second place. He was defeated there in the final Michael van Gerwen with 4:7. Since he takes part in the Premier Leage darts, where each year 10 players are selected which have special achievements.
