Peter Hausen is a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau. It lies on the River Glonn.

Community structure

Peterhausen consists of the district Peterhausen and neighboring villages Asbach, Freymann, Glonnbercha, Göppertshausen, Höckhof, Kollbach Lindachstraße, Mitter Marbach, Mühldorf, Oberhausen, Marbach, Piflitz, Sollern, Speckhof, Wasenhof, White Butterfly and Ziegelberg.

Location

Peter Hausen is about 36 km from Munich and has a good S - Bahn station in 20-40 minute intervals. Since the station is on the Munich- Nuremberg, also also the Munich -Nuremberg Express and the Regional Express hold to / from Ingolstadt. The journey to Munich Central Station is the S -Bahn 38 minutes, with the regional express train / railway 15-20 minutes ( depending on the specific connection).

Incorporations

On 1 January 1972 Upper Marbach was incorporated. On May 1, 1978 followed Kollbach and part of the municipality of Asbach.

Coat of arms

Angular links shared by silver and black; above, a slight left Asked blue fish, down a golden plow. The emblem of the fish, the fishing, the plow symbolizes agriculture. Since about 1950, but its importance was declining steadily, today there are only four full- farmers.

Twinning

  • Parish church of St. Lawrence: Built around 1315, the high altar in 1680, rococo shape since in 1750.

History

By incorporating surrounding towns such as Upper Marbach (1972 ) and Asbach and Kollbach (1978 ) Peter Hausen is now about 6000 inhabitants and around 40 clubs.
