Petey Pablo

Petey Pablo (born 22 July 1973 in Greenville, North Carolina; civil Moses Barrett III ) is an American rapper.

Biography

With a guest appearance and a brief demo on Mystikals platinum album "Let's Get Ready", Petey Pablo gained notoriety in the States. With his debut single Raise Up 2001 he reached number 25 on the Billboard charts. He landed his biggest hit in collaboration with the singer Ciara. Their common single Goodies reached in both the U.S. and UK # 1 on the charts.

He made his first professional recording in 2000 for the second Timbaland and Magoo - album Indecent Proposal.

In May 2005, Petey Pablo moved to Suge Knights Death Row Records label. There, however, he is now no longer part of the roster. Under the direction of Death Row Records he has recorded an unreleased album entitled Same Eyez on Me, whose title refers to 2Pacs double album All Eyez on Me. This album is, however, no longer appear on Death Row Records but on For the People Entertainment.
