Petr Sailer

Petr Sailer ( born September 18, 1975 in Jindřichův Hradec, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Extraliga since 2004.

Career

Petr Sailer learned to ice hockey at the age of six in his hometown. At fifteen, he moved to the youth department of the HC České Budějovice, with their junior team in 1993 he became Czech U18 Champion. Then the attacker was in the 1993/94 season, the first season of the Czech Extraliga, the TJ Slovan Jindřichův Hradec from his hometown his debut in professional hockey. Then he returned for eight years for HC České Budějovice, before he was fired during the season 2002/ 03 initially and a week later signed with HC Slavia Prague. With the Brussels residents he won this season for the first time the Czech Championship.

After winning the title with the HC Slavia Prague Sailer returned once more to České Budějovice, with whom he relegated in season 2003/ 04 in the first second-rate league. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season Sailer was loaned to HC Energie Karlovy Vary, with whom he was for the second time in his career masterpiece.
