Petr Zelenka

Petr Zelenka ( born August 21, 1967 in Prague) is a Czech playwright, screenwriter and director.

Zelenka was V.A. through the black comedy stories of everyday madness ( Příběhy obyčejného šílenství ) is known in which he directed himself at the Prague theater Dejvické. He was awarded the Alfred Radok Award for Best New Play. The piece was continued in several countries, including Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia listed. It was also published in English and Russian. In 2005 it was also a film which won two awards and was nominated for six more. His film about the Brothers Karamazov was the official Oscar contribution of the Czech Republic.
