Petra de Bruin

Petra de Bruin ( born February 22, 1962 in Nieuwkoop ) is a former Dutch cyclist.

In 1979, Petra de Bruin world champion in the road race in the domestic Valkenburg aan de Geul.

De Bruin was also a strong track cyclist: 1987 and 1989 was de Bruin Dutch champion in the individual pursuit and 1988 in the Omnium. In the year of their victory at the World Championships, she was elected to the Netherlands Athlete of the Year.
