Petra Frey
Petra Frey, civil Petra Kauch (* June 27, 1978 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian singer in the area of the hit song and folk music.
Life
Frey learned after school initially the profession hotel clerk. At 15 they released their first CD. In 1994 she took part in Dublin for Austria at the Euro Vision Song Contest. With her title for the peace of the world, which was composed by Brunner & Brunner, but they finished only 17th place. Nevertheless, this was the start of their now successful career as a singer. Over time, more successful songs published.
In 1997, Frey Sorry - I'm sorry Participate in the Deutsche Schlager- Festspiele and reached number 9
In 2002, she took along with Oliver Haidt for Austria part of the Grand Prix of folk music. Their common title separating us seas came in at number 11

Petra Frey does not only sing solo, but also duets, among others, Andy Borg, Andreas Fulterer, Oliver Haidt and Andreas Winkler. It is one of the most successful pop stars of Austria and is repeatedly heard in various TV shows and see.
In 2012 she participated successfully in the Austrian TV show Dancing with the Stars, where she has won jointly with partner Vadim Garbuzov.
